Let's take a second to look around the Big East blogosphere in this week's Blog East.
After putting out feelers during all the conference realignment talk, the ACC did not receive a bid from MSG for the ACC tourney for the 2016-2020 seasons. So rest assured, the Big East tournament will be at MSG, with no competition, until at least 2020. This is one of the issues where having the non-football conference powers like Georgetown, St. John's and Villanova really comes in handy, since the Big East tourney at MSG gives the conference so much identity.
Skip Holtz isn't the only disappointing coach in the conference so far this season. Doug Marrone's Syracuse Orange are out to a 1-3 start, and TNIAAM debate whether he or others on his staff should get the blame.
Matt Hinton posits that Boise State isn't just having growing pains after losing Kellen Moore and other on offense; after they scraped a 7-6 win over (potential future conference mate) BYU, Boise State's offence might just be plain bad.
In terms of yards (261) and points (7), it was Boise's worst output in any home game since moving up to the I-A level back in 1996.
After missing 28 of 32 games in 2011-2012, St. John's basketball coach Steve Lavin announces that he's cancer-free and returning to the sidelines.
