Adding to the wave of Big Ten opponents on USF's future non-conference schedule which already includes Michigan State (2013 and 2018), Maryland (2014 and 2015), Wisconsin (2014 and 2017), and Indiana (2015 and 2016), the Bulls will play Illinois in Tampa on September 9, 2017, and will make the trip up to Champaign on September 15, 2018. Other scheduled games in 2018 include Elon on September 1 and Michigan State on September 22, both in Tampa.
