Chris Perry Out Indefinitely With "Health Issue"

Get better soon, Skippy.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

USF released some awful news today, as sophomore forward Chris Perry is going to be out indefinitely with an unspecified health issue. Chris missed the Bulls' last game against UConn after being hospitalized on Saturday due to chest pain, and missed last night's practice in Tampa before going in for more tests.

Little is known about what's ailing Chris right now, so there's not much we can do besides send our best thoughts and prayers. He's been nothing but a fantastic sport during his Bulls career-- from sticking with this team through the coaching change to stepping into a leadership role in just his sophomore season-- so let's all hope he can get back on the court sooner rather than later.

From a basketball standpoint, Chris has averaged 10.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and will leave an awfully big hole in the Bulls' frontcourt. This will allow for some valuable minutes for young post players like Ruben Guerrero, Bo Zeigler and Jaleel Cousins. But really, we just want to see Skippy back on the sideline.
