2017 College Football Polls: USF Moves Up To #19 in Coaches Poll, #22 in AP

The Bulls moved up in Sunday's polls but will they be slotted in the CFP rankings just in time for Black Friday?

Following an ugly 27-20 victory over Tulsa on Thursday, USF moved up a spot in both of Sunday's polls.

The Bulls inched up a spot to #19 in the latest Amway Coaches Poll and did the same in moving up to #22 in the latest Associated Press Poll.

They were once again joined in both set of rankings by conference foes C. and Memphis. The Knights checked in at #12 and #13 in the Coaches and AP, respectively, while the Tigers were slotted at #16 and #17.

Group of Five power Boise State also entered the both polls this week, coming in at #24 in the Coaches and #25 in the AP.

Of course, what matters now are the College Football Playoff rankings and USF still controls its own destiny.

We’ll find out Tuesday if the Bulls were slotted in those set of rankings just ahead of their colossus Black Friday showdown with C.
