USF football senior wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is good at football, but he’s an even better human being. The wide out from St. Pete will spend his Christmas handing out duffel bags full of supplies to homeless people all across Tampa Bay.
**ATTENTION** I will be handing out duffle bags on Christmas Day to the homeless in Tampa/St. Pete FL. Including tooth brushes, tooth pastes. Jackets, shirts, blankets, socks, and bottled water. If you can donate anything please let me know. Happy holidays. God Bless

“Growing up, I’ve always had a soft spot for homeless people,” MVS said. “There’s situations that they can’t control and they fall on hard times.”
MVS is asking for any donations you are able to give to help fill the bags... anything from shoes, socks, shirts and coats, to toothpaste and toothbrushes.
If you want to reach out to MVS on Twitter, reach out at @MVS_11. You can also send him an email at marquezvaldes@yahoo.com and let him know you’d like to help.
“I want to open up a homeless shelter once I get well off enough,” MVS said. “I just want to give back to the community that raised me.”
If you have any questions on how to help, you can ask them in the comments, or reach out on Twitter. We will get them answered for you.
