Davis is the 43rd ranked CB in the nation and has a composite rating of .8503 per 247sports, making him the fourth-best recruit in the 2018 class. He held offers from Kansas, Colorado State, UConn among others.
With so many seniors graduating in the secondary, Davis could come in and play right away as we’ve seen Strong and defensive coordinator Brian Jean-Mary show no fear in giving playing time to true freshmen like Naytron Culpepper and Donelle Thomas.
