On his Instagram account on Wednesday, USF football senior quarterback Quinton Flowers announced that he received an invitation to the upcoming 2018 NFL Scouting Combine.
The event will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from March 2-5.
The Miami native just wrapped up his legendary career at USF by leading his team to a last minute 38-34 victory over Texas Tech in the Birmingham Bowl.
We could go on all day and night about what Flowers accomplished during his time with the green and gold, but let's rattle off just a few of his several career milestones:
- The American's all-time leader in total offense (11,802 yards).
- USF's all-time touchdown leader (71).
- USF's all-time rushing leader (3,672 yards).
- Fourth player in FBS history to eclipse 8,000 passing yards and 3,500 rushing yards.
Flowers is currently slotted as the 19th best quarterback prospect in the upcoming draft per WalterFootball.com, while other outlets have him pegged as a running back in the NFL.
He joins teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling as current Bulls to be invited to Indy, and becomes the fourth USF player to participate in the combine in two years. Rodney Adams and Marlon Mack went last year.
The star QB will also put his signal-calling skills on display in front of scouts at the 93rd East-West Shrine Game on January 20 at Tropicana Field.
