USF Softball senior centerfielder Juli Weber is no longer with the team. USF Athletics offered no further comment on her dismissal.
Weber paced the 2016 American Conference champions in most offensive statistical categories, leading the team in batting average (.406), at-bats (192), runs (49), hits (78), doubles (18), triples (3), and total bases (117).
It’s a huge loss for a team looking to return to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in six seasons, and one ranked 23rd & 25th in the national polls heading to their only road tournament of the season at Stetson this weekend. In addition to the Hatters, the Bulls will also face Ole Miss and Colgate.
We wish Juli the best, and we’ll never forget this catch...
And we’ll always have the gif of the kiss afterwards.

USF Head Softball Coach Ken Eriksen - Statement
“I can confirm that as of February 21, 2017, Juli Weber is no longer a member of the USF Softball team.
This was purely a coach’s decision that I felt was in the best interest of the program and the success of our team moving forward.
Due to student privacy concerns, I cannot comment further.”
