2016 Stats: After joining USF as a walk-on last fall, Miles did not play.

How He Came To USF: Miles was a tight end and defensive end at Armwood High School in Seffner. He was the starting tight end on the 2011 Class 6A state title team that later had its title vacated for using ineligible players. After high school, K.J. spent three seasons at Assumption College, a Division II program in Worcester, Massachusetts. Miles was a blocking tight end, redshirting in 2013 and appearing in 18 games during the 2014 and 2015 seasons without catching any passes. He also moonlighted on defense and recorded a tackle in garbage time of a 61-9 walloping of Pace in 2015.
