USF football was rewarded for its 43-7 domination of Temple in the polls this week by moving up three spots to No. 18 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings.
The 4-0 Bulls also remained pat at No. 17 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll.

USF continues to remain the only ranked team from the American Athletic Conference in the AP poll. Memphis and UCF are receiving some votes for this week's poll.
San Diego State continues to breathe down USF's neck. They moved up three spots as well to No. 19 after surviving a wild, rainy 28-24 victory over Air Force on Saturday.
Other Notables:
- The top five stays virtually the same with each team handling their business in conference on Saturday.
- Georgia governor Kirby Smart and his Bulldogs break into the top ten at No. 7, taking out Mississippi State 31-3. (Side Note: LOOK AT THESE BULLDOGS!)
UGA starts SEC East play with a trip to listless Tennessee this week, a rivalry that has its fair share of zaniness from time to time.
- KENNY TRILL BACK. The former successor to Johnny Manziel at Texas A&M and his current TCU team took out Oklahoma State in a fun 44-31 upset to move up to No. 9 in the polls.
- As for the rest of the state, Miami remained at No. 14 after pulling away from Toledo in a 52-30 victory.
Florida moved down a spot to No. 21 after coming back to edge Kentucky 28-27.
And after falling 27-21 to NC State, 0-2 FSU falls out of the AP Top 25 for the first time since November of 2011. Their 89 straight weeks in the polls was the second longest active streak in the nation, only behind Alabama.
