College Football Week 5 TV Viewing Guide: What to watch besides USF-East Carolina

Not a whole lot to choose from, but there are a few other games worth tuning into.

Georgia V Tennessee

Last week didn’t look that good on paper, but there ended up being some chaos out there. FSU lost (again). Tennessee did their usual horrible win bullshit over UMass. Florida did the same over Kentucky. Clemson struggled with Boston College for 50 minutes before piling on a bunch of late points. And of course Penn State sucked out on the last play of the game against Iowa. It was a week where I was glad USF got their game out of the way early so the craziness didn’t sweep them up, too.

On to Week 5. Here’s your TV schedule:

Here’s what we’ll have our eyes on today:

12:00 p.m. USF-East Carolina, of course. However, if you get tired of all this winning, you can punish yourself with Vanderbilt-Florida.

3:30 p.m. Is FSU really a threat to lose to Wake Forest? Tune in and find out. Also this year’s installment of Georgia-Tennessee gets going, a matchup that has a long history of getting weird.

7:00 p.m. Mississippi State-Auburn seems like a game that will be interesting, but it will probably end 31-10 or something. Memphis-C. should be a better choice.

8:00 p.m. The week’s headliner is Clemson at Virginia Tech. As long as the Hokies don’t come out in blackout uniforms, this should be a really good game. Also Oklahoma State-Texas Tech could be a free-for-all. Expect crazy things on a Saturday night in Lubbock.

10:30 p.m. Saturday’s meeting of the Willie Taggart fan club meets for #Pac12AfterDark in Eugene as the Ducks play California. You could also watch Northern Illinois play San Diego State and get your hopes up for an Aztecs loss.
