Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced last week that the social media site will change what users will see on their news feed, which is good the users and pretty #bad for TDS.
Facebook said on Thursday that it will start to show users more posts from their friends and family in the News Feed, a move that means people will see fewer posts from publishers and brands.
As our pal Bud Elliott from Tomahawk Nation and SB Nation Recruiting has said numerous times: Twitter For Show, Facebook For Dough.
Facebook has consistently been the main source of our traffic over the years, much more so than Twitter. So we will continue to post our stories on Facebook, but need every single one of you to share the stories with your friends.
This is a great change for our personal accounts because we all need more baby pictures and random Facebook fights to read, but as a publisher this will hurt our overall reach to Bulls fans, so we have one plea from all of you:
SHARE, LIKE AND COMMENT ON EVERY STORY WE POST. WE’RE SERIOUS THIS IS A BIG DEAL. WE’RE TRYING TO COMPETE WITH P5 SCHOOLS UP IN THIS SO HELP US OUT.
Thank you for your continued support. We wouldn’t be here without you guys.
Go Bulls!
