(DISCLAIMER: This game is for entertainment purposes only. No actual money is being wagered.)
First, I have some sad news to report: Contest leader BullsOnParade96 has informed me he will not be able to continue playing this season, for family medical reasons. Please send your best wishes to him and his family.
Since he was in first place, this rather opens up the season’s competition, as the rules requires winners to miss no more than two weeks. However, we will keep him in the standings, as we always do with players who play only part of the season. And, he can honestly tell people he doubled his money. We’ve had seasons where the winner didn’t do that.
As usual, I have to write this post in advance, but here’s all the action on the Tuesday and Thursday night games:

The single (TBD) indicates that these are parlay bets, but the other game(s) in the parlay are not visible yet, because they hadn’t started yet. By the way, if your results ever show a final score but “TBD” as the result, it means I entered the score but haven’t recalculated everyone’s winnings/losings yet. It’s a bit resource-intensive, so I only do that at major junctures in college football Saturday.
Some of our players near the bottom of the table are making big plays to get back in contention. undercoverbull has staked $248 fake dollars on a parlay. McIntyre2K7 returns to action this week, with just over $250 in his bankroll. E-dogg42, anthonyvito, and HerdCountry941 have weeknight parlays entered. As always, view the picks page at World PYU Headquarters (my crappy Dell desktop) to see an updated list of picks.
ElliotMoore and jrjs have already won on Troy beating South Alabama. And did you know North Alabama is moving from Division II to FCS? That gives the state of Alabama ten programs total, five FBS and FCS. Tell me again why the state tried to shut down UAB?
As always, use this space to talk about your picks, this week’s games, the competition, lobby for awards, whatever’s on your mind.
