Behind senior Priyanshu Singh’s first collegiate victory, the USF men’s golf team captured the title in a close finish on Tuesday at the USF Invitational at Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club.
Singh, an India native, shot 1-under 71 on the Tuesday to jump three spots on the leaderboard before his fourth birdie of the day on the final hole clinched his first ever individual title.
Singh was recognized on Wednesday afternoon when the American Athletic Conference named the Delhi native the Men’s Golfer of the Week.

Fellow senior Claudio Correa posted his team-leading fourth top-10 finish of the season, while all five Bulls in the lineup finished in the top 25.
Another senior Cristian DiMarco shot his second 74 of the tournament in the last round and finished in a tie for 10th place at 8-over.
As a team, USF finished +11 and held a 22-shot advantage entering the final day, using its second-best team score of the tournament to finish 29 strokes ahead of second-place Florida Atlantic. Now with four, USF is one tournament win shy of tying the program record of five set in 2014-15.
Under head coach Steve Bradley, the Bulls now find themselves ranked No. 21 in the country and have captured 15 total tournament titles during his tenure.
USF will continue the spring season at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational in Palm City on March 19-21.
