Orlando Jones defensive back Daquan Evans officially made himself the 14th prospect to verbally commit to USF’s 2019 recruiting class last Wednesday.

A teammate of Class of 2018 signee Stacy Kirby, the Jones product helped the Fightin’ Tigers to a 9-1 regular season record, which included a 5A-District 13 title.

In an interview with Chris Hays of the Orlando Sentinel, Evans said he chose USF for both the love that the USF coaching staff has always shown him and to be close to his son, Da’mani.
