The University of South Florida Bulls baseball team announced their 2020 54-game schedule today.

From the release:

“We are looking forward to a challenging 2020 schedule, which has many regional teams from a year ago, including a trip to Gainesville to play the University of Florida for a three-game series,” head coach Billy Mohl said. “Our early schedule will allow us to prepare for the grind of American Athletic Conference play beginning in late March.”

The Bulls open the season February 14 with a weekend series versus Marist College, which will be the first meeting between the two schools ever.

USF will travel to Tallahassee for games against FAMU and Florida State to wrap up five games in five days to start the season. The Bulls will face Northeastern (alma mater of Carlos Pena) for a three-game set February 22-23 with a doubleheader on Saturday. It’s their first meeting since 2004.

The Bulls will face Miami (FL) for the first time since 2011 when they travel to Coral Gables on February 26.

Speaking of 2011, USF will travel to Gainesville March 6-8 to face the Florida Gators in a weekend series for the first time since opening the 2011 season against UF.

AAC play opens with Memphis on March 20. The final conference meeting between USF and UConn will be April 3-5 at home.

C. Florida comes to Tampa for the War on I-4 May 1-3, and USF will close out the regular season against fake tough guy Cliff Godwin and ECU May 14-16.

The American Athletic Conference tournament starts May 19th at Spectrum Field in Clearwater.
