Evelyne Viens was on fire in this game, compiling four goals, tying the school record for the most in a single game. She also got her third career hat trick, which ties a USF record for most in a career.
The game started slowly, with USF getting on the board in the 29th minute with a goal from Viens, which was assisted by Andrea Hauksdottir. Rice tied the game in the 51st minute off of a set piece corner kick but the Evelyne Viens show would begin shortly thereafter, with three unassisted goals by the star senior forward in less than five minutes. Her goals in the 60th, 61st, and 64th minute would easily put the game out of reach for the Owls, who only managed six shots the entire game.
