Keeping Bay Area kids in Tampa was a huge priority for Coach Jeff Scott and with Tshivuadi having impressive measurables like a 6’8” wingspan, it was no wonder that the coaches were looking to add the lengthy and talented receiver.
After a sluggish 0-4 start to the season, CAI rattled off three wins in their next four games to go to the state playoffs, where they lost to TRU Prep Academy out of Miami. Tshivuadi’s stats have not fully updated yet but his presence was felt against Vero Beach and Venice, where he was able to showcase his speed and length. He also showed downfield blocking in these matchups to complete the package as a wide receiver.
As an early enrollee, Coach Scott wanted to get him on campus immediately to get him into the weight room and start conditioning with the team. Its clear the direction that the coaching staff wants to take with receivers is a combination of lengthy outside receivers and speedy slot receivers who run clean routes, and Tshivuadi hits that former attribute perfectly.
