USF is having a field day for Early Signing Day, including getting an explosive wide receiver from Auburn to transfer to Tampa. A former four-star wideout, now safety, from Snellville, GA, Matthew Hill adds length, and athleticism to the secondary.

After helping lead his Broncos team to an 11-3 record his senior year, Rivals had him listed as the number seven athlete in the country and was listed as the GWSA all-state team. Being the named to the Under Armor All-American game, Hill deservedly found himself in the SEC and committed to Auburn.
Hill has plenty of body control as a wide receiver, and his blazing speed and sure hands were on showcase throughout his Hudl film. At Auburn, he only accumulated eight catches for 46 yards before moving to defensive back in the offseason, and then announcing his intentions to transfer less than two weeks ago, and quickly found a new home in Tampa.
If he is immediately eligible, he should have three years available after playing the entire season in 2019 and only playing in three games in 2020.
