Two years ago my hometown Rays came up just one miracle short in the World Series to Toro's beloved Phightin' Phillies, who brought Philadelphia its first major championship since 1983. Seeing as the Rays kept the Evil Empire out of the playoffs entirely that year and then took out the Red Sox in the ALCS, I wasn't exactly bummed out when they lost.
Now we each get another shot at glory and premature, stress-induced hair loss. The 2010 MLB playoffs are starting up this afternoon, and while we scream and rant and act like lunatics in front of our TVs or laptop screens (or even in person), you can follow our respective teams through their championship runs using the baseball blogs here on SB Nation:
