Just think, this is the last Friday without college football. It's getting so close.
- Greg Auman has a couple of Skip Holtz/Notre Dame posts up. First is the rare opportunity Skip has going up against his alma mater. The second is a good story of Skip's playing days with the Fighting Irish, including a pretty awesome photo of Skip.
- Michael Magnanello has news that the backup offensive line is finally coming into shape. It's interesting to see Keith McCaskill at guard with Austin Reiter at center. Maybe they are doing it so Skip can keep Thor Joswiak's redshirt available. Michael also notes that there is a scrimmage today, which should coincide with a depth chart being released shortly thereafter. (Note from Voodoo: YES YES DEPTH CHART WANKERY FORTHCOMING.)
- It's good to see walk-ons Marvin Kloss and Mattius Ciabatti battle for the specialist positions. I was extremely impressed by Ciabatti when I stopped by for the scrimmage in Vero Beach and wouldn't be surprised if he wins the job.
- Good luck to former USF players Amarri Jackson, Huey Whittaker, Delbert Alvarado, and Trae Williams as they try to latch on with a couple of UFL teams. Hopefully some NFL scouts will be on hand and they can move up if they impress.
- USFNation.com has a free photo gallery up, and they have a picture of the Tony Kibler wondermullet. It's worth heading over for just that.
