Summary:

Unlike Friday night, when it took the Bulls a little while to get warmed up against Maryland-Eastern Shore, USF wasted little time putting this one in the win column. They finished the first half with nine straight field goals and took a 38-21 lead into the locker room. USF's lead grew to as many as 22 points in the second half before Stan Heath once again opened up the bench to get his key players some rest.

Kore White, the senior transfer from FAU, was the surprise high scorer with 15 points. Even more surprising was his 3-for-3 night from behind the three-point arc, to go along with an unsurprising five rebounds. Victor Rudd had 10 points and nine boards, and Anthony Collins added 11 points and six more assists.

Maybe most importantly was the defense, which held the Ramblers to 50 points, kept Ben Averkamp in check, and only allowed Loyola to shoot 37% from the field. The rebounds were a 32-32 standoff, but no Loyola players finished in double figures in scoring.

USF finishes off their home tournament with a game against Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm.
