The post-Skip Holtz era is off to an inauspicious beginning as quarterback commit and Elite 11 MVP Asiantii Woulard announced he has decommitted from USF:
I am decommitted from #USF. Keeping options open until things settle but USF is still in the mix.

#USF is still being considered but I have to wait and see what happens with staff. I'm not just gonna go & don't even know the coaches.

Remember that Woulard decommitted back in April, after feeling he might have rushed his original decision to commit to the Bulls. He then recommitted in June before going out to California and winning the Elite 11 quarterback competition.
The only other school that had seriously been pursuing him was NC State. Woulard took an official visit there in November, but they also fired their previous coach, Tom O'Brien. (Tennessee also had rumored interest in Woulard... and Derek Dooley was recently let go.) Whoever the new coach is, their first order of business may be convincing Woulard to stay in USF's 2013 class.
