This is the eighth meeting all-time for the Bulls and Scarlet Knights. Rutgers leads the series 5-2, 2-1 in Tampa and 3-1 in Piscataway. All games have been since the USF joined Big East play.

Yes, you read that right, a DB is their leading scorer; Jones has scored two TDs, returning both an INT and a blocked punt for scores. He's been all over the place. LBs Khaseem GreeneandJamal Merrellhave been a one-two punch for Rutgers, totaling 45 tackles in two games and helping the Knights hold opponents to 82 total yards rushing.
