Greg Ward, Jr. was Houston's punt returner, but now he is their dual threat quarterback. Houston has benched O'Korn and has won their last two games with Ward starting, and the Bulls are going to have a hard time containing him. Defensive Coordinator Chuck Bresnahan said before the game that the Bulls would need to play "fanatically" to win this game.

Meanwhile, USF is giving Steven Bench a try as the starter in this one. He has yet to win a game for the Bulls, but he has shown promise. After Mike White's fumbled snaps and poor performance last week, Coach Taggart opened up competition for every position and it seems that Bench won the QB spot.

After Andre Davis' ejection in the second half of the Cincinnati game, he is obligated to sit out for the first half this afternoon. Rodney Adams will likely be the go-to receiver until Dre comes back. Share your observations, complaints, updates, kvetching and cheering below. Maybe the TV announcers will get our school's name right this time.
