I have no thematic comments today, so let's get right to the results.

LeavittTown's Sudden Death wager on Memphis -7.5 failed when Memphis had to settle for a field goal on several trips, never opening enough of a lead on Temple to cover. So he's out of the competition.

Next on the chopping block is ULismyhothotsex, who is down to $51.29 after his parlay on NC State, Georgia, and Ohio State failed to come in thanks to Georgia Tech blowing out the Wolfpack.

But at the top of the standings, things are getting tight:

Yes, Collin remains in first place followed by Ryan, but they're our own stafffers and giving them a prize would be kind of a dick move, so let's look at the race after that: danj725 and iwaswrongabouthowell made big leaps up the standings this week. jthoma11, kendom, and danj725 are separated by less than $11 fake dollars. Several other players are still in shouting distance. And yes, there are fabulous prizes to be won, so keep those cards and letters coming, kids.

This week's games include: #1 Mississippi State at #4 Alabama; Nebraska-Wisconsin; Ohio State-Minnesota; Clemson-Georgia Tech; Auburn-Georgia; and Florida State-Miami. In the AAC, a big test for USF at SMU; the Bulls are favored by ten, count'em, ten points in the early lines. East Carolina is at Cincinnati; Tulsa is at UCF; Memphis travels to Tulane. Temple plays a non-conference game at Penn State. Navy counts as an AAC team in our game; they host Georgia Southern.
