#15 WR Zach Benjamin
Redshirt Freshman, 6'4", 195 lbs.
Stats in 2013: Benjamin took a redshirt year and did not play.
Spot On Preseason Depth Chart: Not listed on either of the two latest depth charts.
How Did He Come to USF: Benjamin was a local product, from Tampa Catholic High. He chose the Bulls over offers from Air Force, Bowling Green and Ohio among others.
Recruiting Rankings: Rivals gave him three stars, while 247 gave him two.
Projected Playing Time in 2014: It's difficult to say right now. I'd expect Zach would see a decent number of snaps coming off his redshirt year, but Alex Mut and true freshman Ryeshene Bronson were already listed ahead of him on the last two depth charts. Still, he's only a freshman himself and has the best size of the entire unit, so there's plenty of time for him to work himself into the receiver rotation.
Fun Fact: Before receiving a USF offer from Skip Holtz, Benjamin was leaning toward committing to Western Kentucky... and Willie Taggart. Surprise, Zach! You get the best of both worlds.
