How He Came to USF: Daniel was born in Queens, NY and relocated to Lakeland, FL at the age of 17. As a senior at Lakeland-George Jenkins High School, he recorded 38 tackles, one interception, and three fumble recoveries as a defensive lineman. Awoleke was also a state-ranked wrestler. After earning his AA from Polk State College, Awoleke transferred to USF and joined the Bulls squad as a walk-on.

Projected Playing Time in 2015: Unsure at this time due to lack of depth chart presence, but Awoleke did have a nice sack of projected starting quarterback Quinton Flowers in the 2015 Spring game.
Fun Fact: Awoleke was named to the 2013 American Athletic All-Academic team and is majoring in Mass Communications. Awoleke was also received the 2013 Defensive Scout Team Award at the annual USF Football banquet.
