Only Deangelo Antoine Days Until USF Football

The Bulls need speed at receiver. This freshman has a lot of it.

Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY Sports

#14 WR Deangelo Antoine
Freshman, 5'10", 185 lbs.

Stats in 2014: Deangelo played for Oak Ridge High School in Orlando last season, where he caught 68 passes for 1,013 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Spot on Fall Camp Depth Chart: Not listed.

How He Came to USF: Antoine played both receiver and corner at Oak Ridge, but was recruited predominantly as a slot receiver. He committed to USF last summer after a stellar showing at a couple of Florida recruiting events, including one where he was timed around a 4.4 40. He also attracted interest from Louisville and UCF, but was always a solid USF commit.

Recruiting Rankings: 247 gave him three stars, while Rivals gave him two.

Projected Playing Time: Antoine is likely headed for a redshirt season-- though his speed could be useful in the slot this season, Rodney Adams and Chase Whitehead should be sufficient options in 2015. The Bulls need quick receivers for their spread offense though, so Deangelo could be invaluable down the line.

Highlights: Have I mentioned that Deangelo is fast? Because he is fast.
