It was a very cloudy morning at the Frank Morsani Football Complex as the USF Bulls had their final practice of the week before taking on the East Carolina Pirates at noon Saturday.
Today’s practice was just a walk-through, so the guys were taking it easy, but head coach Willie Taggart was pleased with their efforts today and during the week.
“Great week of practice, a lot of energy, good execution throughout practice,” Taggart said. “We got in and out of practice, we didn’t have to do a lot of repeats which is always good... Guys were locked into their assignments.”
With all the distractions that come with homecoming week (check out former Bulls QB Steven Bench’s piece on that) it’s nice to know that even the coaches think the team was very focused during the week.
Injury update:
Safety Austin Hudson is not in a red non-contact jersey. It was also a walkthrough day so that may not mean much. #USF

Taggart said that Hudson should be available for Saturday.*
Cornerback Deatrick Nichols practiced fully Wednesday and today, so he shouldn’t be a concern heading into Saturday.*
*Take with a grain of salt
Noteworthy:
USF released the list of the O.G. Bulls that will be in attendance for the homecoming game:
