The post-spring period for football is an interesting time roster wise as you get and idea of the early depth chart heading into the summer and who is transferring to/from the program.
On Tuesday, linebacker Nick Holman announced via Twitter his decision to take his football talents elsewhere.

A three-star class of 2014 linebacker out of Madison, Alabama, Holman appeared in eleven games on special teams and defense as a redshirt freshman in 2015. After spring ball, he found himself sitting behind Nigel Harris at WLB when the depth chart was released last Friday. With several young linebackers being brought into the program, the fight for playing time will become even more difficult in an increasingly crowded unit, which is what may have prompted the decision to leave.
We obviously wish Nick a boatload of success wherever he lands next.
