The vaunted depth at wide receiver for USF this upcoming season is starting to make some guys think they might not be able to see the field in green and gold. And two guys in Zach Benjamin (which we knew already) and now Chase Whitehead have decided to leave for another opportunity.

Benjamin redshirted in 2014, and never saw the field for the Bulls in 2015.
Also former walk-on Chase Whitehead has decided to head to Hattiesburg.
We're excited to announce that former USF WR Chase Whitehead is transferring to USM. Glad we could help you Chase! pic.twitter.com/2r00kumpAC

That tweet is from The Process Football, whose CEO is former USF Director of Football Operations Paul Gonnella, so we'll assume it's fact.
Though Whitehead was a waterbug in practice and made some nice catches in Spring Games, including a TD in 2015, he only got on the field for four games for USF last season and failed to record a catch. He had a wide open opportunity in Doak Campbell vs. FSU that looked like a sure touchdown, but couldn't quite reel it in. Whitehead was also a USF redshirt in 2014.
Finally linebacker Nick Holman has found a new home in the reconstituted UAB program.
Very excited that we could help former USF LB @nholman_44 on his transfer to UAB. We're proud of you Nick! #HelpKids pic.twitter.com/pfxdY7mVH3

Holman had previously announced his intention to transfer, and though UAB won't be playing in 2016, he'll be able to compete immediately when they bring back football in 2017. He played in 11 games last season, with five tackles and a pass breakup.
The best of luck to all three gentlemen both in football and academically.
