#70 OL Glen Bethel
Junior, 6'6", 300 lbs.

2015 Stats: None. Bethel was not technically part of the team in 2015, He needed to complete some course work last fall in order to be eligible to play going forward.

Position on Depth Chart: Perhaps surprisingly, Bethel is the backup right tackle to Billy Atterbury on the post-spring depth chart.

How He Came To USF: Glen played at Hialeah's Champagnat Catholic High School. He had some middling interest out of high school, but didn't have the grades and ended up at Arizona Western College in lovely Yuma. Bethel played two years for the Matadors and increased his stock a great deal. By the time he committed to USF in December 2014, he reportedly held offers from Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and others.

Here are some of Bethel's highlights from Arizona Western:

Recruiting Rankings: Glen was a two-star recruit out of high school, but following his time at Arizona Western he was given three stars by all of the major recruiting services.

Projected Playing Time: Bethel was one of the most touted recruits in USF's 2015 class, so it's a bit surprising to see him as a backup right now. Maybe he's behind the curve because he couldn't practice last fall and Atterbury did. Or maybe Atterbury is just better than he is. Regardless, he'll likely get his shots this year, whether he's spelling Atterbury or left tackle Kofi Amichia (who is backed up by another redshirt freshman, Marcus Norman).

Follow Him On... Nowhere, because we couldn't find any Twitter or Instagram accounts. The only Glen Bethel I could turn up lives in Australia. Probably not who we're looking for.
