USF bounced back both on the field and in the polls this weekend.
Following its 37-20 victory at UConn on Saturday, the Bulls rose two spots to #21 in the latest Amway Coaches Poll, and returned to the latest Associated Press Poll at #22. After last week’s lost to Houston they had fallen out of the poll, but as the first “Also Receiving Votes” team they were likely to move back in with a victory.

USF fans are all up in everyone’s mentions again, whining about where the Bulls are ranked, but these polls are officially useless. More important at this point of the season are the College Football Playoff rankings. The Bulls were left out of last week’s rankings, and we don’t know how close they would have been to making the CFP top 25. We'll check back in on Tuesday to see if Saturday's conference road win was enough to see them ranked in the only poll that matters now.
