#96 DE Garry Cadet - Redshirt Junior, 6’6”, 275 lbs.

2016 Stats: Cadet made his first appearance for USF in the season finale against C. We haven’t found any of his game action yet, but he did not record any stats.

How He Came To USF: Cadet was an offensive tackle at Boynton Beach High School. He helped the Tigers to a 10-2 record in 2013, his senior season, and a trip to the Class 6A playoffs. They were beaten in the first round of the playoffs by Miami Central, a team quarterbacked by Lamar Jackson.

After high school, Cadet originally went to Arkansas Pine-Bluff as an offensive lineman. He was listed on the 2014 roster, but didn’t play any games (possibly redshirting - he was pretty undersized to play O-line in college). He left UAPB and later walked on at USF, switching to defense. Since his eligibility clock began in 2014, he’d be a junior in 2017 with a redshirt year included.

High School Highlights: Here’s a reel of Cadet playing OT at Boynton Beach.
