USF Football Player Profile - #76 OL Logan MacDonald

Career profile of USF offensive lineman Logan MacDonald.

#76 OL Logan MacDonald - Redshirt Freshman, 6’4”, 270 lbs.

2016 Stats: MacDonald took a redshirt season. That weight has to be a misprint... and the 258 he’s listed at in the spring prospectus has to be even more of a misprint. In theory he would have bulked up during his redshirt year to reach a more typical weight for a college lineman. If that prospectus weight is correct and he actually lost 12 pounds, is he being converted to a tight end or some other position? Something to look at later.

How He Came To USF: Logan was a very late add to the USF roster in 2016, only arriving when the fall semester began. He played at Ridge Community High School in Davenport, a small town just south of the I-4/US-27 interchange in Polk County. MacDonald helped running back Keandre Griner break 1,000 yards rushing in his senior year and was a clear bright spot on a pretty bad Bolts team. He chose the Bulls over offers from division rivals UConn and Temple.

High School Highlights:

Recruiting Rankings: Logan was given three stars by 247 and ESPN, while Rivals and Scout each gave him two stars.
