This trip is going to be a bit trickier than we thought as it turns out there’s a produce convention in New Orleans that weekend that’s driving up the hotel rates much higher than normal. Take a look at what Priceline is charging per night for October 20th and 21st here. Zoinks.
We’d like to get everyone together and use the power of leverage to negotiate with a few hotels to help get as many Bulls to NOLA as possible. So we created the survey below to see how many people would be interested in going, how they intend to get there, what they want to do while in one of America’s favorite cities, and what matters most to them: luxury, ease of accommodation, or cheap.
We’ll take the results and factor into the plans we’re making to get as many as we can to NOLA. This is for current students and recent graduates too, because you’re the ones that USF really needs to be there, as you are the future.
We won’t have a gametime likely until two weeks before, so planning things for Saturday is difficult. An 11 a.m. kickoff means a lot different activities postgame than a 7 p.m. kickoff might mean postgame. With Saturday up in the air, we’re just asking questions about Friday for now.
So take the survey if you plan on making the trip, even if it’s not with us. And thanks!
