#67 OL Hal Roberson - Sophomore, 6’1”, 305 lbs.

2017: Appeared in 10 games according to his profile on the team’s website. Got reps with the one’s during spring practice.

2016: Roberson did not play last year and used his redshirt.

How He Came To USF: After spending years as strictly an offensive lineman, Hal shed 50 pounds before his senior year to play both guard and defensive tackle at Riverview High School. As a defender, he made 33 tackles, 6.5 TFL, and three sacks in his senior year. On offense, he played a couple different line positions in the Sharks’ option system. If Roberson got any college offers, it doesn’t look like he took any of them on. Instead he joined USF as a walk-on last fall, presumably though the tryout process.

High School Highlights: There are a lot of them on Hal’s Hudl page. Here’s his catch-all senior reel.

Recruiting Rankings: Roberson was not rated by any recruiting sites.

Follow Him On... Just to top off all the things we don’t know about Hal Roberson, it doesn’t appear that he’s on Twitter or Instagram.
