Grier really elevated his game for Mays last fall, helping anchor a Raider defense that only gave up 19.5 points per game throughout the season.
The Southwest Atlanta product earned Atlanta-Journal Constitution Class AAAAAA Honorable Mention status for his efforts during his junior campaign, racking up 47 tackles, four forced fumbles, two sacks, and an interception throughout 2016.
He becomes the sixth prospect to verbally commit to USF in the last two weeks and the second ATL commit after Atlanta Carver QB Octavius Battle, so we’ll see if this staff will continue to try to gradually make inroads into Atlanta metro.
