Now it’s time for our weekly look at all the happenings off the football field in USF sports, and there is plenty to cover.

No. 20 Women’s Soccer (12-2-0, 7-1-0 AAC)

Junior striker Evelyne Viens scored twice in a 5-1 thrashing of SMU on Sunday afternoon, breaking the USF season goals record with 17.

The first-place Bulls have won six straight games and are undefeated at home (8-0-0) this season.

Already guaranteed to at least share the regular season American Athletic Conference Championship, USF will finish the home slate on Friday night against C. in a huge War-On-I4 clash at 7 p.m. The game can be streamed on the American Digital Network here.

Men’s Soccer (5-6-2, 2-1-2 AAC)

Sophomore midfielder Josue Monge scored the lone USF goal on Saturday night in a tough 2-1 road loss to No. 19 C.

After falling behind 58 seconds in, the Bulls managed to tie the game 1-1 before halftime but allowed the go-ahead Knights goal in the 68th minute and couldn’t recover, losing to a ranked team for the fourth time this season.

USF faces FIU in Miami on Tuesday night before resuming conference play on the road at Cincinnati on Friday night.

Volleyball (15-7, 4-5 AAC)

The Bulls spent the weekend on the road, falling in straight sets (23-25, 17-25, 12-25) to first-place Cincinnati on Friday before bouncing back for a four set victory at East Carolina (25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 27-25) on Sunday.

Junior outside hitter Jac’cara Walker continued her strong season, as she was named to The American’s weekly honor roll for a FOURTH time this season after averaging 4.43 kills, 3.00 digs and 4.57 points per set with a .971 reception percentage last week.

USF returns home to The Corral to host SMU on Friday at 7 p.m. and Houston on Sunday at noon.

Men’s Golf

The Bulls wrapped-up their fall season with a second place finish at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate last week in Vero Beach.

Freshman Amadeo Figus matched the school’s low round vs. par record with an 8-under 64. The final team leaderboard can be viewed here.
