Now it’s time for our weekly look at all the happenings off the football field in USF sports, and there is plenty to cover.
No. 20 Women’s Soccer (12-2-0, 7-1-0 AAC)
Junior striker Evelyne Viens scored twice in a 5-1 thrashing of SMU on Sunday afternoon, breaking the USF season goals record with 17.

The first-place Bulls have won six straight games and are undefeated at home (8-0-0) this season.
Already guaranteed to at least share the regular season American Athletic Conference Championship, USF will finish the home slate on Friday night against C. in a huge War-On-I4 clash at 7 p.m. The game can be streamed on the American Digital Network here.
Men’s Soccer (5-6-2, 2-1-2 AAC)
Sophomore midfielder Josue Monge scored the lone USF goal on Saturday night in a tough 2-1 road loss to No. 19 C.
After falling behind 58 seconds in, the Bulls managed to tie the game 1-1 before halftime but allowed the go-ahead Knights goal in the 68th minute and couldn’t recover, losing to a ranked team for the fourth time this season.
USF faces FIU in Miami on Tuesday night before resuming conference play on the road at Cincinnati on Friday night.
Volleyball (15-7, 4-5 AAC)
The Bulls spent the weekend on the road, falling in straight sets (23-25, 17-25, 12-25) to first-place Cincinnati on Friday before bouncing back for a four set victory at East Carolina (25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 27-25) on Sunday.
Junior outside hitter Jac’cara Walker continued her strong season, as she was named to The American’s weekly honor roll for a FOURTH time this season after averaging 4.43 kills, 3.00 digs and 4.57 points per set with a .971 reception percentage last week.
USF returns home to The Corral to host SMU on Friday at 7 p.m. and Houston on Sunday at noon.
Men’s Golf
The Bulls wrapped-up their fall season with a second place finish at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate last week in Vero Beach.
Freshman Amadeo Figus matched the school’s low round vs. par record with an 8-under 64. The final team leaderboard can be viewed here.

Notables:
- Women’s golf has posted three straight top-10 finishes and is currently competing in the final event of the fall, the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational in Lakewood Ranch. Live scoring is available here.
- Cross country will compete in the American Athletic Conference Championships on Thursday in New Orleans.
- Men’s tennis continues its run at the ITA Southeast Regional in Athens, GA this week and you can access live scoring here.
- Women’s tennis will head to Tuscaloosa, AL Friday through Sunday to compete in the Roberta Allison Fall Classic.
- Sailing will travel to Jacksonville this Saturday for the SAISA Fall Women’s Championships.
