No. 2 Baylor Becomes USF’s first of three 2019 Final Four Opponents
Happy Birthday Jose Fernandez! Your gift is facing reigning NCAA national champion and 2nd-ranked Baylor.
The Lady Bears are destroying their competition so far this year, winning by an average margin of 70.7 points per game. That’s not a misprint. Baylor has six players scoring in double figures, led by NaLyssa Smith’s 19.3 PPG.
Baylor hasn’t taken many three’s so far this season (10-for-20), so Mununga, Beatriz Jordao, Tamara Henshaw, and Shae Levertt will all have to contribute to defending the post, boxing out, and grabbing every rebounds.
