Joining the 2020 class with his cousin Taron Keith out of Daytona Beach Mainland, Knox had a solid senior campaign for a DeLand ballclub that went 7-3 and just missed out on a postseason berth. He registered 25 tackles, seven passes defensed, two forced fumbles and an interception this past fall.
He’s the second DeLand prospect to head to USF in as many years after linebacker Demaurez Bellamy arrived though the 2019 class.
