Senior forward Adrian Billhardt did everything he could to get USF on the score sheet, collecting a game high five shots, with four of them coming on goal. The Bulls held a shot advantage throughout the entire match, but Ohio State’s Peter Siegfried continued to stop shots, finishing the night with five saves.
Junior midfielder Emilio Ycaza had three shots on the evening, with juniors Trey Jackson and Avionne Flanagan getting two shots each. Meanwhile, senior goalkeeper Harrison Devenish-Meares finished the night with two saves. Freshmen striker Victor Claudel did not play tonight due to an undisclosed injury with what appears to be his foot.
Despite the loss, sophomore defender Javain Brown was named to Top Drawer Soccer team of the week for his performances against Louisville and Lipscomb, both victories for USF. Brown played the full 90 in both games giving plenty of defensive pressure and making timely tackles to limit both the Cardinals and the Bison on their shot selection.
