USF men’s basketball, in conjunction with the American Athletic Conference, officially released their 16-game conference schedule on Friday morning.

The Bulls will bookend the conference schedule with SMU, opening in Dallas on New Year’s Day 2020 and close the slate against the Mustangs at the Yuengling Center on Mar. 7.

The AAC Tournament will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX from Mar. 12-15.

“Our league has always been one of the top basketball conferences in the NCAA and this season will be no different,” USF head coach Brian Gregory said in the press release. “We’re excited to have so many premier league games on national television and at the Yuengling Center. It’s also a huge benefit to our fans that we’ll have five weekend conference games as well.”

USF will play an 18-game conference schedule with home-and-homes against the everyone in the conference except Tulane (road), Tulsa (home), Temple (road) and Cincinnati (home).

This completes the full 2019-20 slate for a program aiming to build on a surprise run to the CBI Tournament championship last season. The Bulls will open the season on Nov. 5 when hosting Arkansas Pine-Bluff at the Yuengling Center.
