Although lightly recruited, Best shined on an offensive line that paved its way to 6.5 yards per carry by Trinity Prep. Standing at 6’4 and 285, Best isn’t lacking size either, and his ability to play guard and tackle will provide to be useful along Coach Mo’s unit.
His Hudl film is filled with him providing great blocks in both run and pass plays, with a relentless drive to pancake opponents. He has a great first step on pass protection to help seal a quarterback’s blindside. In run plays, he quickly is able to get to the second level to provide finishing blocks to break open his running backs, and once he engages, he plays through the whistle.
