USF picked up their second verbal commit of the 2021 recruiting cycle with Vero Beach HS linebacker Davon Hicks verbally committing to the Bulls on Sunday.

Helping lead his Vero Beach Indians to an 11-1 record last season and a state quarterfinal appearance, Hicks was a key member of the defense that kept opponents to 12.6 points per game. Compiling 89 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 4 interceptions, and a fumble recovery, Hicks was flying around the football field and even scored a pick six.
