He signed with the school in December.@247SportsPortalhttps://t.co/HkBkTWkLcE
A native of Hawaii, Tuitupou racked up 22 tackles, half a sack, a forced fumble and two blocked kicks last fall at East Los Angeles College. A three-star JuCo prospect, he was offered a scholarship by former USF defensive line coach Paul Spicer and committed within days.
Even after the firing of Charlie Strong’s entire staff and a visit to San Jose State, the Samoan born d-linemen remained firm with the Green and Gold, signing during the early signing period in December and enrolling in classes in January.
He becomes the second player on the USF defense to transfer out in a week’s time after linebacker Trey Laing announced his intention to enter the portal last Tuesday.
