A third defensive prospect has joined USF football’s emerging 2021 recruiting class as strongside defensive end Keeon Terrell out of Fort Myers decided to verbally commit after visiting campus on Thursday.

DE Keeon Terrell
6’3”, 220 pounds
Fort Myers High School, Fort Myers, FL
Recruiting Rankings: Not yet ranked by any major services for the 2021 cycle.
Other notable offers: Toledo
The large southwest Florida pass rusher emerged as an imposing force for the Fort Myers defense during his junior campaign last fall. Helping lead the Green Wave to the Region 4 semifinals in the Class 6A state playoffs, Terrell ended 2019 with 62 tackles, six sacks and a fumble recovery.
But it wasn't just seniors making plays for @FortMyersHS! @KeeonTerrell is an absolute nightmare to block, sacks, TFLs, chase down tackles, you name it! Keeon was all over the field for the Greenies.

Head coach Jeff Scott and defensive line Da’Quan Bowers were certainly able to get the beat on Terrell early with Toledo being his only other offer prior to February. With two linebackers already on the board for the 2021 class and several other defensive line offers being sent out, we’re starting to see that building depth in the front seven is the first priority for the new staff.
