USF men’s basketball official twitter account announced late Wednesday evening that their upcoming game against the University of Houston would be postponed due to COVID-19.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports and Will Turner of Bulls247, there was a positive case within the USF men’s basketball program and thus, due to contact tracing, it was decided to postpone the game before Houston has begun their travels.

As of right now, there is not a make up date scheduled, nor was there any other postponement of future games on USF’s schedule. USF and Houston is the third postponement announced by the AAC today, with SMU’s upcoming games against Memphis (January 14th) and Wichita State (January 17th) being postponed as well.
