USF basketball received news that Forward DJ Patrick from Junior College progrum Triton College in Illinois will be transferring to play for USF men’s basketball.

DJ Patrick’s JuCo season started in late January, but his offer sheet quickly grabbed some attention with interesting coming from USF, Central Michigan, and Tulsa to name a few. Patrick has averaged 14.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for the Trojans, and more importantly, was hitting just under 50% of his threes. He also has hit 77% of his free throws while also accumulating 14 blocks and 16 steals.
Patrick’s best game this season came against Morton College, where he went for a blistering 31 points after making seven three-pointers. He added five rebounds and two steals to his name during the 89-53 blowout.
